For Ukrainian parents created an application of vaccinations and medical examinations of the child

UNICEF has developed a useful and easy-to-use application “Child Health Calendar” for Ukrainian parents. The application helps to determine the dates of necessary medical examinations and vaccinations of the child.

The application is available on the pages of UNICEF Ukraine on Facebook and Vkontakte. To start work, you just need to enter the date of birth of the child. Three days before the scheduled physical examination and vaccination, the app will send a reminder to the user on social networks or by email. But its possibilities are not limited. It contains pediatrician advice and links to resources where parents will find the most reliable information from experts and doctors.
All medical advice and information regarding medical examinations and vaccinations were developed in conjunction with a medical expert and comply with international and Ukrainian recommendations regarding the health of the child.
“The primary purpose of UNICEF work is to care for children. Vaccination is the most effective protection of the health of any child. Unfortunately, many mothers in Ukraine do not trust vaccination, based on rumors and prejudices. We encourage parents to listen to doctors and follow the calendar of medical examinations and vaccinations to preserve the health of their baby, says Veronika Vashchenko, head of the UNICEF Information Department in Ukraine.
