Scientists have developed a method of treating teeth without a drill

A new painless method of dental treatment without the use of a drill was called the procedure of accelerated remineralization. It involves the build-up of calcium and phosphorus in damaged areas of the tooth. A special device for this purpose was created by scientists at the London School of Medicine.

To grow a tooth, the dentist will have to prepare the site of treatment, and then with the help of a special device send phosphorus and calcium ions to the damaged areas.
According to the developers, the cost of the mineralization procedure with the help of their device corresponds to the usual cleaning with a drill. In dental clinics in England, such dental treatment will be available after only 3 years.
