Wearable Solar is working on the clothes of the future
A new start-up Wearable Solar is supposed to help solve the problem of Autonomous mobile gadgets. The company is headed by a designer from the Netherlands Pauline baths Dongen. For solving the mentioned tasks the designer creates dresses which will get the built-in solar panel. The first sample of the garment have already been presented at a traditional festival Northiside Festival, which took place in Brooklyn.
Pauline van Dongen noted that the impetus for creating these high-tech dresses become from two factors. In the first place – the desire of modern people to be constantly connected through smartphones, which tend not time to discharge.
The designer has considerable experience of designing wearable devices that are allowed to cope with the problems related to the installation of volume of batteries in gadgets of this type. So Paulina baths Dongen and decided to create clothing that will extend the functionality of smartphone.
Daan, Roosegarde, another Dutch designer, has created a technological Intimacy 2.0 dress that becomes completely transparent when the pulse increases from emotions like excitement, anxiety or fear.
No technical parameters of the dresses of the new generation is not yet known. It is noted that already a number of companies interested in the startup Wearable Solar and is willing to sponsor its development.
Electronic sensors in a dress, connected to LED diodes, detect changes in body temperature and pulse.
