Top 10 Most Impressive Animal Fights

Around the world, in every country, millions of animals fight for survival, killing each other. Animals kill each other because they need food to survive in difficult conditions. Sometimes skirmishes end not with murder, but with the flight of one of the opponents, which, nevertheless, has little effect on the entertainment of the fight.

We present you a selection of dozens of impressive duels of major representatives of fauna.

1. Bear versus tiger.

For bear Meggy, it was a normal day, she rested next to a pond in the Rantambor tiger reserve in Rajasthan, India. And then a tiger appeared. Naturally, Maggie didn't expect it, but she quickly recovered and, so to speak, chased a big cat into her neck. In fact, the bear was protecting her cubs. This is what we call motherly love.

2. Lions versus lioness.

The epic fight of big cats in the Maasai Mara reserve. Why there was a fight is not clear, perhaps one of the lioness made a careless remark to a friend that she had two gray hairs on her neck.

3. Eagle versus fox.

Imagine that you are a proud eagle enjoying a real feast in the form of a corpse of an animal. And then some brazen fox decided to join you. What do I do? Of course, show who owns the forest. For example, try to teach him the first flight lesson, grabbing his hind legs and lifting into the air. Judging by the expression of the fox's muzzle, something like, "Damn, you shouldn't have messed up."

4. Zebra versus zebra.

So you think that zebras are harmless striped horses grazing peacefully in the African savannah, and then, bam! You see a picture like this and you know it's not. Look at them! There's definitely nothing cute or funny here. Pure, undisguised anger and thirst for blood in the eyes. Real fights without rules.

5. Zebra versus lion.

This photo was taken in the same place as the previous one in Ngorongoro, Tanzania. Perhaps this zebra is the winner from the previous photo? Why not? It's not just a zebra, it's a karate kid.

6. Wolf versus bear.

The wolf is trying to pinch a piece from the carcass of the roe deer, which the bear was just about to eat. However, the bear does not seem to want to share.

7. Crocodile versus hippo.

The hippopotamus is probably the most mysterious animal in the world. It looks clumsy and funny, but it’s actually a killing machine. Apparently, this crocodile didn't know that. The poor guy got stuck in a hippopotamus-infested pond and just wanted to escape so that someone wouldn’t just sit on him in the water. It wasn't here!

8. Hippo versus lioness.

This heavy poor fellow moved too far from the pond, and he was immediately surrounded by lioness. Looks like he came to the wrong savannah area.

9. Elephant versus crocodile.

Once in Zambia, photographer Martin Naifeler decided to capture a mother with an elephant, but in the end captured much more: true motherly love. When this evil crocodile tried to attack the elephant, the mother stepped in. The crocodile closed his jaws on her trunk, and the mother decided to drag him away from her offspring and water. As a result, the toothy reptile had to retreat, and the mother and baby left unharmed.

10. Lions, buffaloes and crocodiles.

And in conclusion, an excellent photo, and below - a video of a very spectacular confrontation in the vastness of Africa. The video was shot in 2004 near a reservoir in Kruger National Park, South Africa, by David Budzinski and Jason Schlosberg. Looking at this video, we can assume that this is some cleverly invented directorial production. A pair of lions chase buffaloes, targeting the cub. Then, when the confrontation moves into the water, two crocodiles suddenly appear from there, and a real tug of war begins, only instead of a rope, as you guessed it, a buffalo. The lions defeated, and when they were ready to enjoy the prey, the pack returned for its kin and, in the literal sense of the word, recaptured it from the lions. What a happy ending! For the buffalo.
