Electric rollers Acton R Rocket Skates is the new eco fashion
Anyone who thinks that electric traction is only used in cars, haven't heard about electric roller skates category which was developed by Kickstarter under the brand Acton R Rocket Skates.
If you dreamed of the mega-gadget, which wouldn't be called "smartphone", and which could diversify banal walk in the Park then you may be interested in electric rollers Acton. Named R Rocket Skates, roller skates have all the chances to revolutionize urban mobility.
How does it work? Something like this: each roller contains two electric motor controlled by a built-in microprocessor and powered by a lithium-ion battery. The rollers can be worn over almost all types of shoes and they "communicate" with each other to maintain the same speed while driving. Or rather, one of the skates acts as a "leader" (the Lead) and the second "slave" (the Follower), which adapts to the speed of the "main". Users to start the walk can choose which horse will be the main on the right foot or the left.
Presents three models of rollers Rocket Skates that you can choose depending on your preferences: R6, R8, and R10. In version R6, skates provide the best possible speed at 19.3 km/h and range walk about 10 miles or 45 minutes. Option R8 — a more generous and provides autonomy for about 13 km, or 70 minutes, and R10 for the “marathon” walks through capacity, designed for 16 km, or 90 minutes. Regardless of the model, the rollers batteries charged to 100% in about an hour and a half.
The project was financed by the website Kickstarter and also offers an app for smartphones — Acton App, which you can use to access information on the distance traveled, average speed and battery level. Prices for this gadget vary from 499 to 699 dollars.
