Enel opens a new network of electric charging stations in Italy
In late September, the Italian energy company Enel has opened 15 new charging stations for electric vehicles. A new network of charging stations scattered around Umbria, in which the average distance between settlements is only 40 kilometers.
The project is developed together with the energy company ASM of the province of Terni, with the support of the municipal authorities. With the opening of a new network, the total number of charging stations in the Umbria region rose to 47. Drivers of electric vehicles can make use of all stations as a single card, and not worry about compatibility with charging stations, as Enel and ASM had originally agreed to use a common charging technology developed by the Enel.
Only in Italy at the moment installed about 400 stations, including in such major areas as Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy and Lazio. More information about the location of the stations in Italy can be found on the official website of the Enel company.
