Tibet: Children is never enough
About Tibet a lot of rumors and legends. Often people believe that the entire population of the "roof of the world" are only monks. Monks and mountains – that's all there is in Tibet. Looking for Tibet on the map, you can really come to this conclusion: most of the Tibet Autonomous region is located at an altitude of over 3000 meters and it looks pretty deserted.
Landscapes sometimes reminiscent of the photographs from the moon, where in addition to colorless surface nothing. In Tibet there are only two seasons – cold and very cold. However, the Tibetans even on such a "barren soil" was able to survive as a people. And certainly not because they are all monks.
Little children do not happen
Due to climatic conditions, life in Tibet has never been easy that much impact on child mortality. Like many traditional peoples, the Tibetans was made to give birth to many children. On average, they survived half of them. But survive is really strong, more strong and healthy children.
Because 99% of Tibetans are Buddhists, their attitude to life and death is very different from ours: the death of the children they mourn, but this is not a tragedy for the whole of a woman's life, and not just because she gives birth again.
Just something to do with the Tibetans more relaxed: they take it as part of life, and the belief in reincarnation helps them to let go of the deceased and to pray that in his next life he again returned to the same house. For Tibetans to have children after marriage is normal.
Abnormal – if they are not. Relatives will start to wonder "Why?!" stronger than us. If a man is not a monk, you should create a family. If you do not have time to create a family for himself – to help the parents. And when the family already has – is to bear children. published
