The concept of a drone for transporting goods

According to Israeli student of the school of engineering design Kobi Shikar, the delivery of goods at the present time is not ideal: it requires human and automotive resources, and taking into account traffic jams, human factors and other variables looks quite expensive for the supplier company. So Kobe proposed using small autonomous transport robots to deliver cargo. Depending on the size of the cargo, their number can increase, thereby forming a transport group of delivery.

The student named his drone concept Transwheel. It is based on a single-wheeled unicycle robot equipped with a self-balancing gyroscopic system, a pair of mechanical hands, signal LED lights, a facial recognition system, a GPS satellite navigation system receiver and a communication system. With the help of specially developed software, drones will be able to jointly transport bulky cargo, for example, a container, without getting lost and correctly distributing gravity. Transwheel is able to independently get to the nearest charging point and choose the optimal route, taking into account the traffic situation. By the way, transport robots could quite successfully replace postmen.
