The freedom to be

You must learn to minimize their actions. Talk less, eat less, to sleep less, to think less, less fuss and run around. The less we do, the more there is space of awareness.

To do nothing is impossible; while in the human body, we are doomed to action. Most people spend their lives in a continuous rush, saying the millions of unnecessary words, losing myself in countless of useless thoughts, making an infinite number of pointless actions and gestures.





Actually this is not necessary. You need to learn how to act properly. Right action-an appropriate response to the emerging situation. No need to take the initiative in the intervals between the active situations, we must learn to live in a peaceful inaction. From this inaction, preserving and accumulating the energy, you emerge in the correct action. This action translates itself from your correct internal state.

The flow of change never stops for a second. Life continuously creates new situations which somehow have to respond and react.

What is the appropriate response to the situation? This means to respond to the change, using the minimum of means. If you asked about something ─ answer as short as possible and clearly. If you asked for help ─ do what you can, without cackling and raising dust. If you need somewhere to go or something to do ─ do it without doing a million unnecessary things. If you need something to think about or solve ─ consider and decide, without being distracted by this on extraneous thoughts, and hit the target.

If there is a situation prompting you to action, don't worry and don't worry, it will come. Use the idle time for rest, recuperation, meditation, just stay alone.

Sometimes, you don't know how to respond to the situation. Then don't do anything. The action is born out of inactivity. Everything has to come the time and any situation, and your reaction to it, needs to Mature. Give it some time and you will see, and what to do or not to do. Never in a hurry and don't be nervous. Learn to find joy in rest and in action. Look at everything that happens and everything you do as a game. Feel the joy of the Lord Shiva playing with his Universe through you.

Find action in inaction and inaction in action. Realize the unity of both.

Make a still center in all this will help to reveal the ancient truth of Advaita: nothing ever happens. And, at the same time, everything happens ─ everywhere and always. The motion is at rest, the rest exists in motion. published
