In Germany presented the final version of the CITY E-Taxi

The ACM consortium created in the framework of the project "IKT-EM III" funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and energy of Germany introduced June 2 in Munich, the final version of the electric car has received the name CITY eTaxi.

This is a simple electric vehicle with four wheels that has been designed for the urban environment. The scope of its application will not only work in a taxi, but a number of other related areas, such as Carsharing, for small transport or tourism.

The goal of the ACM was to create a competitive, resource-efficient and environmentally friendly car. In the summer of 2015, the project was named the flagship project of the Federal government. And, two years later, in 2017, the consortium will begin practical tests of their offspring in the Bavarian capital Munich. CITY eTaxi plays in lightweight category (L7e) and is aimed at growing niche of urban, electro-mechanical, light, filling the gap between cars and two-wheeled vehicles.
