20 classic painted pictures

In the project "History in the color" black and white photographs made in tsvetnye.Prosmatrivaya photos of events of bygone days, it seems that eventually the world became brighter. Like in the early XX century, everything was black and white and then gradually acquired colors and shades. But, of course, the past was not without color, people, their clothes, the scenery on the background - everything had its own color.

Participants of the project "History in color" on the site reddit figured out how to look into the last century, without losing color. Professional digital artists painted historical pictures that exist only in black and white, thereby breathing life into them.

It would seem that the idea is simple, and there is nothing special: just some signage at the store will be colored, or dress - not black and dark red. However, the result exceeded expectations.

The final image has a surprising effect: historical moments in the color produced is incredibly alive. People seem more real events - whether war scenes or moments of friendly gatherings - look as if they had occurred recently. This makes the picture much more impressive.
