For the past 75 years, pregnant women Finnish government gives box



There - initial set of clothes, diapers and toys, and the box can even be used as a crib. Mothers can choose: get the amount of cash (now 140 euros) or take the box. 95% choose the box because its content is much more. At first, it was created for low-income families, and in 1949 began to receive a box of all parents.

Since then, this gift from the state - a sign of new parenthood - means that all Finnish babies get equality in the beginning of his life no matter in which layer of society they were born.
