Better mountains can only ... funiculars in the mountains! Not far from Tbilisi, in the gorge of the river Kvirila, on the picturesque slopes stretches a small Georgian town of Chiatura. It was founded at the end of the XIX-th century, and its appearance is obliged to rich deposits of manganese and iron ore.
Let the streets of Chiatura buses or other public transport was not possible - in the mountain city streets and somehow as such, almost was not. As a result, when JV Stalin was found surprising, but probably the only right decision - to wrap parts of the city network cable cars
Currently, there are ten Chiatura passenger lines and two industrial , the city authorities hope to soon find sponsors to repair the city's main attractions. The site took several scenic pictures of these places.
