How to wear in-ear headphones

Did you do something takya not like listening to music in-ear headphones. The sound is rich and completely natural, they block outside sounds, very light and portable. I often recommend to their friends when they ask me what headphones they choose to buy. But as often friends come back and say they are dissatisfied with the sound. It sounds like a tin can. Not enough bass. Too often drop out. But in fact, their problem, apparently, is not functioning headphones, and the correctness of their selection.

In-ear headphones look like earplugs, but operate on a different principle. They do not hang on your ears like traditional headphones, and designed to be worn fully inserted in the ears. This should be done so that the soft nozzle formed a tight seal with the walls of the ear canal - like a cork in a bottle of wine. If this seal is not present, the transmission of sound worse (especially bass) and you will hear too much background noise.

You do not just have to stick them in your ears. You have to do it right.

The correct way:

Start by placing headphones in your ears, and push them a little bit deeper. Then use both hands to properly install the headphones. In the case of the left ear with his right hand, grasp the left earlobe. Pull the earlobe down a bit to expand the ear canal. Then use the left index finger to gently push the earpiece on. Not up to the eardrum, of course, but far enough away to make you feel resistance. Release earlobe. Your ear canal returns to its normal size, and you will feel a seal in the ear. Now do the same for the other ear.

You will notice that the sound coming from the headphones, became louder (turn down the volume a bit), and the bass was heard better. Extraneous noises are missing. Some people do not like it - they start claustrophobic, but without fanfare, the music sounds more exciting. Learn to enjoy the solitude.

In order to complete soundproofing was necessary to choose the right size of the nozzle. In most earphones come with multiple orifices of different sizes made of various materials such as rubber and foam. Start with a minimum size. If it is small, the move toward increasing the size. The largest size of the last try - you'll be surprised, but the smaller size of the nozzle sometimes gives the best result. If rubber attachments you are not satisfied, try different foams. Most manufacturers produce excellent packing foams for different types of in-ear headphones.
