Ancient Romans wore socks with sandals
The ancient Romans, apparently shamelessly committed one of the worst crimes against fashion. The researchers found the 2000 summer sandals, which remained inside the fabric fibers. Socks!
Speaking seriously, this archaeological find is of great importance: it is one of the few surviving objects pertaining to the Roman industry. Earlier there were the remains of a water mill, used for the production of flour in the army needs, as well as for the manufacture of garments and ceramics.
