City in Arizona terrorizing the crowd of homeless Chihuahuas
Tiny terror
Chihuahuas seem pretty harmless, but they can do much harm, if one place they will meet quite a lot. Residents Maryvale, a small town in Arizona, can confirm this: the city is filled with tiny stray dogs that attack children shitting everywhere and bark all night.
Local officials from the Office of the animals declare that control the size of the Chihuahua is very difficult. They received more than 6,000 calls from frustrated residents, more than three times the number of calls from all other US cities. Dogs, unfortunately not sterilized or neutered, meaning they can produce offspring that only exacerbates the problem.
Tiny dogs get off in huge flocks and attack small children, a couple of times a dog bites and adult residents. Where did they come from? Previously, the city lived a lot of Mexican emigrants who have returned home and threw the dogs to fend for themselves. Some come here for a month, give birth to a little dog, and then throw it into the street.
Now officials give locals instructions on how you can help the situation on their own. If a resident sees a stray dog in your yard, you should hold it there and call the Office of the animals. Usually people call and say they see a pack of stray dogs, but when workers come to the place of service, dogs have long gone.
It is also planned to launch public service announcements on Spanish radio and television, urging owners to neuter their pets and sterilize.
