The blessing of the sun - a prayer in Judaism, expressing gratitude to the Creator for the creation of light and uttered once in 28 years in the morning. Pronounced at the sight of the sun, nominally returned after 28 annual cycles at the same point in the sky at the same time on the same day of the week, as in the Creation of the World.
