In Japan, in Kyoto (Kyoto) is a river of Kamo (Kamo River) - one of the favorite and famous rivers of Japan. Kamo River flows through the city of Kyoto from north to south, and is a favorite place for residents of Kyoto, a place of realization of the spirit of Kyoto.





The upper reaches of the river is in Kumagahata (Kumogahata), in the north-western part of the city. There, a small jet seeps from the rocks and eventually merged into a single stream, which merges with the river Takano (Takano River), which flows from the north-east, in Demachiyanagi (Demachiyanagi) near Kyoto University (Kyoto University).

Today the river is the foundation of a rich ecosystem. In the spring many different colors bloom on both sides of the river, great white cherry, so loved by the Japanese. In the summer the river abounds in fish, contains trout, insects and birds, such as herons and wagtails.

A lot of people are going for a walk along the river, captivated the sounds of murmuring water and singing birds flitting playfully on the surface of the river. Those who follow the health, like to arrange jogging along the water, couples walk slowly make young people sitting on the benches, indulge in reading books, families gather for picnics here, beloved pressed together, watching a beautiful sunset.
