Great-grandfather from the mom was a doctor. The only doctor for 5 generations. Snapshot 1890s.
My father was a Cossack blood. This picture was taken somewhere in 1903 Baby sitting on a chair, my paternal grandmother.
Of his grandfather, I knew very little. Do not want to talk about it in the family. Only later, in the 90s. I learned that at the very beginning of the war (somewhere in September-October 1941), he was surrounded and captured, whence he never returned.
Sister mom was arrested in 1940. The family, along with 8-year-old mother, were forced to leave Leningrad.
