160 years and 32 kilometers
On the territory of the modern capital of France is a unique little railway, which has already celebrated its 160th anniversary. However, it is not used for other purposes than eight decades.
Called railroad «Chemin de fer de Petite Ceinture», and its length is only 32 kilometers away. Road functioned from 1852 until the first 1934 years. Recently, a horde of officials was aimed at a blank piece of metal, with a view to settling unused land. Nevertheless, until a group of enthusiasts and related organizations manage to restrain the zeal of bureaucrats, to preserve the heritage of the city. Photographer Pierre Faulk (Pierre Folk), in support of the preservation of the unique ring road, created a series of pictures that devoted «Chemin de fer de Petite Ceinture».
