Popularization of technical creativity in China
In last time we strolled along one of the largest exhibitions of the achievements of electronics and robotics - MakerFaire, which was held in the Chinese city of Shenzhen .
Today we visit the cozy cafe campus, where they had free workshops from the guys from the local hakspeysa TechSpace for university students.
At these workshops, anyone could try:
- create interactive postcard
- to collect "singing" pencil
- solder LED pendant
The text will be used fragments of translation from Chinese, from the publication of this event on the blog hakspeysa TechSpace :
Community «TechSpace» since last year launched a collaboration with the Institute of Management Shenzhen University. Was jointly established non-university practical basis for creativity and new ideas. This is the first event of its kind, in which the emphasis is on the generation of new knowledge through technical work. Blockquote> Here is the cafe during the master class:
Interactive open h5> Interactive opened - this master class for the beginners
consists of a copper based conductor ribbons.
You can make different patterns, adding power supply and SMD LEDs.
«Singing" pencil h5> An interesting project - Drawdio , its essence lies in the fact that the nozzle is a pencil, and then when you touch the rod to the figures - speaker utters various sounds.
The basis used brush, plus:
* 555 chip
* Battery
* Speaker
To make the "singing pencil", does not require any special skills. The whole theoretical base takes less than two hours, and students of humanities can make all by yourself, with your own hands.
Hearing the sounds that suddenly begins to make a pencil, students almost jumping for joy!

LED pendant h5>
To make a necklace with a beating heart, you need to have the skills to solder. I remember many years ago, I soldered the radio, which was not even a body. This process then seemed very boring. But now, looking at the participants, I see how they are passionate about. Not to mention the fact that in the end they will be rewarded in the form of the original pendant. Education is always interesting when you turn the game moments. Blockquote>

TechSpace h5> Here volunteers from hakspeysa TechSpace, who conducted these workshops:
By the way, about this hakspeys in Shenzhen City, we were told recently. And here link to Google-group TechSpace .
In closing h5> Thanks Sakuya , that responded and helped with the translation from the Chinese, and thanks targence for the photos.
I think this format is very useful for teaching students - in its natural form to get interesting skills, students will learn something new. Cooperation of universities and hakspeysov (clubs of technical creativity) - mutually beneficial.
If you are in Yekaterinburg, and have ideas for cooperation, we will be happy to hear - write . If in another city - you can find at hakspeysy, fablaby, TsMITy that could hold exciting workshops.
