April 29, the Vyborg Shipbuilding Plant (part of the JSC "United Shipbuilding Corporation") held an event dedicated to the descent of the icebreaker "Vladivostok" - head in a series of diesel-electric icebreakers Project 21900M.





The vessel built by order of the Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport and will be put "Rosmorport" - a year. "Vladivostok" will be carried out of ships in the Far East.



Construction of two other icebreakers series - "Murmansk" and "Novorossiysk" - completed in August and December 2015.
Godmother of the ship was the deputy head of administration of Vladivostok Elena Shchegolev.

According to Director General of ZDF Alexander Solovyov he said that before the plant was one of the biggest challenges in its history, as "the ship is difficult from all points of view».
"Although the ship will be delivered to the customer in a year, we can already say that the FAZ copes with the order," - said Solovyov.



From the Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport (Rosmorrechflot) factory team congratulated the deputy head of the agency, Yuri Kostin.
