In Japan, recorded outbreak of bird flu

authorities of the Japanese prefecture of Kumamoto destroy more than 110 thousand chickens due to an outbreak of bird flu at one of the local poultry farms. The dangerous virus was detected on a poultry farm town Taragay. Staff at the farm discovered there more than 270 dead birds. Veterinary inspection showed that the chickens died from bird flu. Immediately afterwards, the authorities of the prefecture deployed around the affected farms three-kilometer quarantine zone and imposed a ban on the export of products. The current outbreak of avian influenza in Japan, was the first since the beginning of the year.
