Harold Eugene Edgerton Development
Harold Eugene Edgerton - engineer, inventor and photographer. He developed the technique of instant photography. He took off a nuclear explosion in the first millisecond automatic camera, located 7 miles (11 km 2) from the epicenter, with a focal length of 10 feet (3 meters). The shutter clicked every 100 milliseconds. Many of the photos taken by Edgerton and documenting what is happening in the incredibly short period of time, today adorn the museums of Fine Arts around the world. His work has allowed us to see what we would never see with the naked eye.
