Bmw Welt - BMW World

The center BMW Welt, built in the fall of last year, received the award for the best project implemented by WAFl Awards 2008. «World of BMW" is a hybrid of exhibition and research center. The space subordinate to a single idea, designed so that cars made the central focus, and they are exposed in the best light. However, apart from the exhibition functions, the building can also be used for other purposes, for example it is possible to carry out various forums, in the north wing has an audience capacity of 1200 students, the building is given over to the administrative offices as well as the presence of a public area with a cafe.





Wolf D. Prix, cofounder Bureau of Coop Himmelb (l) au, and the chief architect of the project described it as:
"The ideology of the creation of the exhibition center was the fact that to create is not strictly utilitarian building and refinement of the structure of a multifunctional urban space.
