This lake is one of the most popular attractions of Yellowstone National Park, famous for its geysers and hot springs.
It is called at the end of the XIX century in honor of the blue flower - Morning Glory "Morning Glory" because of the similarity in color: in those days the water in the lake was very clean, sky blue.
But irresponsible visitors to the park, which over the years has been more than enough, throwing debris into the lake, and some spenders - even metal coins.
These foreign objects completely oxidized and expanding, moving further away from the blue color of the water: it is now green and off - yellow-orange due to the bacteria proliferated.
In addition to multi-colored at the lake, there is another distinguishing feature. It can not only drown (depth of 7 meters is more than enough), but also boil: the average water temperature - 90 degrees Celsius.
