Hill Masatrigo - conical hill, located in the province of Badajoz (Extremadura Autonomous Region) in western Spain. Geographically Masatrigo Hill is also located in the area (or Comarca, as they are called in Spain) La Seabury. Earth La Seabury very diverse in nature. In the southern part of the region begin the Sierra Morena, which is probably responsible for the formation of Hill Masatrigo. Two major rivers - the Guadiana and Zuzhar - form are broad so-called poluravniny. Locals built several dams on the rivers, forming a series of reservoirs. The hill is located on the La Serena reservoir, the largest in Spain and the second largest in Europe. La Serena holds 6% of the water across the country. In addition, thanks to the reservoirs coastline near La Sieber became more than in any other region of Spain. In summer it is willing to leisure travelers and residents of nearby cities.
Because of its shape similar to volcanic Masatrigo often confused with the extinct volcano, and is also called the "magic mountain". And while in the geological history of the Hill remain dark spots, its morphological history of all the obvious: the word "masatrigo" literally translates as "wheat dough."
