One million smuggled and illegally manufactured cigarettes (only 47 thousand. Packs) destroyed on July 30 at the site "Prudische" near Minsk. Illegal goods was detained by customs authorities when trying to move across the border of Belarus. As a rule, the smuggling of cigarettes coming from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus to the European Union, where their value sometimes comes to $ 6-7 per pack. For the illegal movement of tobacco smuggling is particularly active use of the Belarusian-Latvian and Belarusian-Lithuanian border.
