At 9:25 on October 12 near the village. Maksimovka Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region on uncontrolled railway crossing ferrying Manganese - Nikopol (116 km railway, Krivoy Rog, Zaporozhye) shunting locomotive collided with a passenger bus "Etalon" (previously carrying about 50 people). According to preliminary data, 38 people were killed, of which one person died in hospital, 11 people were hospitalized in serious condition in a city hospital Marganetsk (12 people have been hospitalized).
For emergency response involved 56 people and 17 units. art. Rescue operations are continuing. Additionally, involved units of MES and ambulance.
