December 21 in Kharkov commissioned a new subway station - "Alekseevskaya." A new section of a length of 2, 5 km away is the continuation of Alexis subway lines.
The station is located in the northern part of the city at the intersection of Prospect Street and Ludwig Svoboda Akhsarova. The site of the station "August 23" station "Alekseevskaya" will connect the city center with Alekseevskii housing estates as a whole will improve transport services for the population of the city.
Estimated cost - 431, 4 mln. UAH. The actual book value of injected site is 384, 6 mln. UAH.
Construction entered the site was conducted and quarrying operations.
Built station "Alekseevskaya" is a fundamentally new solution - in a constructive and space-planning scheme of the construction of the station is made of reinforced concrete. The large volume and the height of the platform section (7, 5 m) allowing to apply a variety of architectural details: three-dimensional elements, mirrored surfaces and artistic inserts on the track wall. Decorative and monumental art insert designed Honored Artist of Ukraine (by the way, a husband and wife), Igor Morgunov and Olga Erofeeva.
For floors and walls of the station used Ukrainian granite deposits. As the lining of columns used Greek white marble. At the bottom of the column around the perimeter air benches. Much attention is paid to the non-standard products of stainless steel: rails, railings and barriers.
