Dmitry Komarov again visited Kharkiv and told how the city lives today
Previously, we all followed how Dmitry Komarov visits different parts of the world. He went to exotic places, tried unusual food and showed the characteristics of different countries. But that all changed when Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The TV host immediately expressed his position. He also changed his activities dramatically. Now he travels around the country and shows what the occupiers have done to it. In a new post, he showed what the situation in Kharkiv is now.
Instagram / @komarovmir Editorial "Site" He shares with you the thoughts of Dmitry Komarov about Kharkov. We also show you the pictures he took there.
From the first days of the war, Dmitry Komarov declared his position. He condemned the actions of the occupiers. Now it shows what happened to Ukrainian cities after the invasion. He is trying to show the truth to the world. We shared his report from Kharkov. He shot the city with a drone and showed what it looks like now. And recently he visited Kharkiv again to show what was happening there.
Instagram / @komarovmir In his Instagram post he wrote: "Kharkov today." Daily arrivals, daily rocket attacks on residential areas, the historic city center. In the photo, one of the most powerful arrivals for today is in the city center, near architectural monuments. They are shooting from their Belgorod region peaceful Kharkiv and peaceful people. As you can see in the photo, there are no hints of military facilities at the place of arrival.”
Instagram / @komarovmir It is very painful to look at what a beautiful city looks like now. A little more than six months ago, people lived happily here. We walked through these streets and took our children. But the invaders bring only more destruction every day. However, Kharkiv, namely the people who live there, are steadfast, strong and invincible.
Komarov wrote: "And Kharkov is invincible." A pattern of coherence. People immediately cooperated and together with the utilities bring the sites of missile strikes in order. The utilities are just on top: everything is recovering very quickly. Damage to wires, pipes, removal of piles of stones and fragments, glass - the work boils so that the city immediately lived fully. He was clean and beautiful. I used to be amazed when I saw super speed repairs in Tokyo. But I will say that Kharkiv is not inferior.”
Instagram / @komarovmir It is striking that despite all the destruction, the city continues to live. People analyze the consequences of the attacks in order to get back to business as soon as possible. Such people cannot be defeated. Dmitry also noted that Kharkiv lives, despite the shelling. He is moving confidently towards victory.” We sincerely admire the Kharkiv people.
Also before that, Dmitry posted a post on Independence Day, in which he admires his fellow citizens. We were very inspired by his thoughts. Today is a special Independence Day - at the most difficult time for Ukraine in history, when the country, more than ever, needs the help of each of us to bring victory closer together.
Today, the whole world admires the unique feature of Ukrainians – to unite, turning into a single organism. Together we become invincible. Our strength lies in our unity.”
Dmitry shared his thoughts on freedom: Yesterday we talked about independence. For me, independence is freedom. Freedom of action, thought, desire. The ability to dream freely, independently determining what your future will be.
You are free when you are independent and independent when you are free. Only an independent person can afford not to lie, not to adapt to circumstances, but to be himself. Only independent people always win. I'm proud to be Ukrainian. I am proud to live in Ukraine.”
Instagram / @komarovmir We think his thoughts are in tune with what each of us is thinking. It hurts all of us to see what Ukrainian cities look like now. But that is no reason to give up. You need to be strong and believe in victory, bringing it closer by any means. Peace will surely come to our land. And we will certainly rebuild the cities. We believe, hope and do not lose heart!
