Great murky swamps

Marshland is located on the coastal plain in the south-eastern part of Virginia, USA.
This place is one of the last unspoilt corners of wild nature in the eastern United States.
Its total area is about 500 km of water area and forests.

Among the trees represented within the protected natural monument by the state, there is a bald cypress, pine, maple and many others, and of mammals, perhaps, we can distinguish a black bear, lynx, otter and weasel.

Tourists are frequent and repeatedly make a leisurely stroll along the lake by boat.
