Tomorrow in Kiev officially opens trolls (rope trail) across the Dnieper River, connecting the arch of Friendship of Peoples to the Trukhaniv Island. The crossing was organized by Sky Park. The length of the track is 600 meters - the longest trolls in the country in the near future should confirm representatives Ukrainian Book of Records.



The route runs parallel to the pedestrian bridge. On a viewing platform near the arch of Friendship of Peoples of the rope attached to an iron pillar, and on the other side - to the 12-meter tower on the beach of the island Truhanov. Trolley runs in only one direction, so that will have to return to the footbridge.



Now the trail consists of two ropes, each holds up to 2, 5 tons. In the future, they are planning to replace the cable, designed for 12 tons. On cable, you can develop a high speed, and when it rains it will not get wet and sagging. The rate of descent on the rope Troll does not exceed 60 km / h, as a result of the way usually takes 40-60 seconds.



Rope path is already installed, tested and this week will begin to work - every day from 11: 00-12: 00 until 21:30. Go down to Truhanov island will be at least until August 1. However, the price has not been definitively established, ranging 150-200 UAH. For pupils, students and pensioners will make a discount of 50%.

The maximum weight, which allow for a rope crossing, - 150 kg, the minimum - about 30 kg (less if there is a risk nedoletet). Children 8 years allowed to descend only with adults, with the proviso that the total weight of the passengers do not exceed 100 kg.
