In Belgorod region, reflecting the fierce attacks of the coming of the enemy, July 9, 1943 Koltygi weapon destroyed six tanks (three of them "tiger"), 86 vehicles, 40 wagons loaded with infantry and anti-aircraft battery and up to 200 enemy infantry.
In the summer offensive battles 7 August 1943 Koltygi weapon, making a march at the head outpost tanks in the area Beryozovka south Borisovka was to counterattack the enemy infantry battalion numbering up, with the support of 15 tanks and artillery.
