Hall Mohalla - ikhov festival in India
Ancient festival of the Sikh Mohalla Hall, which is celebrated in the month of Phalguna, the day after the famous festival of Holi.
During the festival streets Anandpur Sahib and Mukstar in northern India are filled with colorful processions. Men wear colored military costumes, compete in archery and firearms, horse riding, wrestling and fencing.





Yesterday the Indian city of Anandpur Sahib, Punjab, was the site of an annual fair "Hall Mohalla" - festival of the Sikhs. By tradition, the event is celebrated at the end of the month Phalguna. Adherents of Sikhism from all over the country come here to reaffirm their allegiance to religious faith. They performed a dance of the same name, featuring traditional martial arts, competed in archery, riding and fencing.
