At the beginning of the last century corporation "Granbers" in Stockholm has issued a series of postcards with views of Gorny Altai, Barnaul, Novokuznetsk, Ulaly (Gorno-Altai) under the name "Altai".
Its author - Barnaul photo-artist Sergei Borisov.
For three years he has devoted to trips to the Altai, made up a thousand pictures.
The result - in addition to publications in Stockholm, an invitation to cooperate in the Paris magazine "Patezhurnal" numerous performances with lectures about Altai and demonstrating remarkable images in the "magic lantern" (stereoscope) in Barnaul.
