The Soviet system of tropospheric communication TRRL north, which is almost 40 years provides links North and the Soviet Far East.
It all started in 1966, when the order of the Minister of Communications of the USSR in Yakutsk Office was established technical operation of cable and radio relay highways №18, subsequently TCMS-18. In the same year, the newly formed company signalers built the first in Yakutia tropospheric radio relay line associated with the capital of the Republic Tiksi Sangary, Ust-Maya, Zhigansky.
In those days it was a real breakthrough in the development of transmission means. In fact, after it became possible to conduct long-distance phone calls to anywhere in the Soviet Union. A year later was commissioned, again the first in the country, cable line Yakutsk - Skovorodino (Chita region), which yielded 480 intercity and intra-channel communications for South Yakutia.
