The Soviet system of tropospheric communication TRRL north, which is almost 40 years enables communication of the Soviet North and the Far East.

It all started in 1966 when the Order of the Minister of Communications of the USSR was established in Yakutsk management technical operation of cable and radio relay highways №18, then TTsMS-18. In the same year the newly formed signalers built the first enterprise in Yakutia tropospheric radio relay line, connect the capital republic to Tiksi, Sangary, Ust-Maya, Zhigansky.

In those days it was a real breakthrough in the development of communication transmission. It then became possible to conduct long-distance phone calls to anywhere in the Soviet Union. A year later was commissioned, again the first in the country, cable line to Yakutsk - Skovorodino (Chita region), which has allowed to receive 480 channels of inter-city and intra-communications for South Yakutia.
