Khrushchev's visit to the United States (22 photos)

15-27 September 1959, the first in the history of Soviet-American relations official visit of the head of the Communist Party and Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev in the USA.
The visit was covered by 2, 5 thousand accredited journalists the US State Department and photographers (including 41 Soviet), and according to the American magazine "Life" the total number of journalists was not less than 5,000 people, which at that time was an absolute record.
Read more about the visit can be found here. Extremely interesting material prepared specifically for the 50th anniversary of this historic trip.
The following report will take a photo of the magazine "Life" by Hank Walker. Color correction plus my long faded slides.
