The futuristic landmark of Brussels

One of the main attractions and a symbol of Brussels is quite strange at first view of the construction - the Atomium. This crystal lattice of iron magnified 165 billion times was built in honor of the great opportunities of nuclear energy. I suggest not to waste time and carefully inspect it. Futuristic hundred-meter large object was built as a symbol of the atomic age to the opening of the World Expo 1958, the first Expo exhibition after World War II.
