Invented battery, working 30 years without charge

In the United States created the battery for the mobile device (laptop or mobile phone), which can operate 30 years without recharging. The US Air Force Research Laboratory have developed a battery on the basis of radiation, according to Next Energy News.
Principle of the battery is that the radioactive material emits beta radiation (electron flow), which is then detected by a silicon plate, and then electric current is induced.
This accumulator is formed by reactions of hydrogen isotope - tritium. It is noteworthy that the heat of reaction within the battery is not isolated.
The developers claim that their battery is completely harmless and non-toxic even after the end of service life (30 years).
It is planned that these batteries will be put into production within 2-3 years.
