"The Hobbit." Location shooting

"The Lord of the Rings" was one of the most successful films, beautiful adaptation of Tolkien's books. Fans around the world fell in love with picturesque views of Middle-earth. And now all looking forward to the new film by Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey." Hobbiton for filming - where the hobbits live - part of the scenery was built in New Zealand on the emerald hills of private sheep farm ten years ago, when filming the trilogy "The Lord of the Rings." This place is left untouched by technological advances of the 20th century - there are no roads, buildings or power lines. Decorators were built 37 houses "nor" hobbits, put a fence, planted barberry and garden trees, a bridge and a mill. Then destroyed most of the scenery, but something left. Then this place has become very popular among tourists. According to rough estimates, in 2002 there was visited by 200,000 visitors.
