Tour of the village

Today we will go to a unique and inimitable architectural project - Village Hotel Emir Kusturica in Serbia. This village is located near the border with Bosnia, about 250 kilometers from Belgrade, in a very picturesque area. Looking at the surrounding beauty, once you understand why this village for the construction of Emir Kusturica chose this place.

Fascinated by the local landscape, even before reaching the village itself, I stopped every ten minutes.

It is a pity that with the help of photographs can not convey the feeling that you experience swallowing of air. The idea of building the village was born during the filming of "Life is a Miracle", which took place in these places. September 25th, 2004, the day of the premiere of this film, the village was inaugurated.

Guests are met at the entrance of a wooden gun.

The very village quite cozy and picturesque.

But the feeling that everything is artificial, does not leave for a second.

As if you are in the scenery of the next film.

While some buildings look quite natural.

The house of the director himself.

I must admit that Kusturica good neighbors.

And the names of the streets are quite interesting.

There is also an appropriate restaurant.

In the center of the village stands the church of St. Sava.

Prison

Across the village arranged a collection of old cars.

Limousine Trabant with a cat on the roof.

Volga, donated by Nikita Mikhalkov.

With mashed seats and collapsing steering wheel.

But the focus riveting detail, which is decorated this place.
