Inflatable doll (Kuki ningyo, Air Doll) - forty-year man Hideo (Itsuyi Itao) lives alone with an inflatable doll, which he gave the name Nozomi (Du Bai). The doll was his girlfriend: he puts it, talking to her over dinner and slept with her. However, Hideo does not suspect that the doll came to life. And, after leaving work Hideo, Nozomi worn every day walking around the city, like a child knowing the world outside their apartment. When Nozomi meets Junichi (Arata), who works at the local video store, she falls in love with him and takes a part-time job in a shop. She learns about the world through films, which looks with Junichi, but her happiness with him is interrupted by an unexpected turn of events.
