"True Grit» (True Grit)

Tom Chaney (Josh Brolin) was homeless vagrant in Arkansas, was interrupted by the dirtiest work until his pity did not take to his assistant Frank Ross (Philip Knobloch), who lived on his farm with his daughter Mattie (Haley Staynfeld). But Tom turned out to be ungrateful beast. When the two of them came back after buying a horse in Fort Smith, Tom killed Frank, took possession of his money, and escape from punishment, disappeared riding on a horse purchased on Indian territory, where he joined a gang of disorderly "Lucky" Ned Peppersa (Barry Pepper).

Frank's daughter Mattie Ross, who just turned 14 years old, decided to take revenge on the murderer. And along with the hired her for a good reward aging, one-eyed and slightly burdened judicial Marshal Reuben Cogburn nicknamed "The Rooster" (Jeff Bridges), goes on a journey. On the road, they are joined by another marshal La Boeuf (Matt Damon), Cheney also is wanted on charges of murder. At first, dangerous mission in Russia seemed excessive burden on both men, but soon showed great courage and resourcefulness, Mattie Ross was able to prove that he is a full member of their group.
