Tom Chaney (Josh Brolin) was homeless vagrant in Arkansas, was interrupted by the dirtiest work until his pity did not take to his assistant Frank Ross (Philip Knobloch), who lived on his farm with his daughter Mattie (Haley Staynfeld). But Tom turned out to be ungrateful beast.
