Sculptures «Aeolius» - music symbol wind
Aeolus - that was the name of the god of the wind among the ancient Greeks. Therefore, it is not accidental Luke Jerram (Luke Jerram) named his sculpture so. Aeolus converts the movement of air masses in the strange sounds vaguely resembling a melody.
Interactive sculpture Dzherrama Luke (Luke Jerram) - the main feature of the design. Installation is dedicated to the creation of the social project "Play me, I'm all yours." The essence of the project is to place dozens of musical instruments throughout the city. Aeolus is set in a park «Canada Square Park», which is located in London's Canary Wharf. Luke says that the creation of this sculpture was inspired by architectural acoustics of a mosque in Iran, where he had been a sculptor. The exhibition runs until May 10 this year. At the end of photoset you can see a small clip of the sculpture.
