Australian horizontal waterfalls

It is unusual to hear such a phrase. Nevertheless, it is a fact. In the Australian Gulf Talbot are several unusual waterfalls that appear only at high tide, which makes the definition of a waterfall controversial.

The maximum difference between the highest and the lowest point of the falls, is only about five meters. Thus, the width of the cleft, through which directs a tidal body of water, in one case of about 10 meters, and in the other - of the order of 20 meters. The two waterfalls are connecting openings between the Gulf and Talbot freshwater lake Poulton Creek. Sami openings are located in the ridge of the two ranges separated by a distance of about three hundred meters.
