Festival of sand sculptures in the Hamptons
The festival of sand sculptures takes place in the Hamptons with the year 2000. Its founder was a local sculptor Gregory Grady (Gregory Grady). He has created several sculptures at a local beach exclusively on voluntary basis.
Now, this event has become an international event. For the sculpture has been used more than 150 tons of sand. The competition program was attended by ten masters of international class. The prize fund of the festival is $ 15 000. In general, looking at all the final work, it is clear that the jury fell hard work in terms of selection of the winner. June 22 the winners were announced, and from July 7th exhibition became available to ordinary viewers. A few days ago, the sculpture was turned back to the beach :)
