Highest concert will be held on Everest





Rock musicians and performers of folk songs from the UK and the US will hold a concert in support of the fight against cancer. According to the American James Chippendale charity concert in support of people suffering from cancer, held on October 21 at an altitude of 5550 meters in the mountaineering camp on the slopes of the highest in the world, Mount Everest.

"We are taking the fight against cancer to new heights," - he said on the eve of the Chippendale "high" concert. At the concert will Mike Peters of the British band The Alarm, Jim Phantom of the American rock band Stray Cats, British singer of folk songs of Nick Harper, as well as musicians from The Fixx and the Squeeze. This concert will be recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as holding on very high altitude. On the proceeds charity buys equipment for a cancer hospital in Nepal's capital Kathmandu.
