The largest model railway (15 photos)

The world's largest model train takes about 1,150 square meters (12,380 square feet). This model shows the six regions including America, Switzerland, Scandinavia, Germany and the Austrian Alps, the American section depicts a giant model of the Rocky Mountains, Everglades, Grand Canyon and Mount Rushmore. This project will be completed in 2014, when the composition covers more than 1,800 square meters (19, 376 sq. Ft) and displays nearly 13 miles of railways tracks that detail the model parts of France, Italy and the United Kingdom. This model includes 700 trains with more than 10,000 cars and vans.
